Description:

Our well established growing private sector client is looking for an Oracle/SQL developer.  You will be a subject matter expert and will work closely with the Architect.  Reporting to the Software Manager, you will be a self starter and responsible for making recommendations and day to day database development.  This requires someone that enjoys improving the performance of databases.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and problem analysis
  • Actively participate in optimizing and maintaining databases
  • Provide database guidance to management and the team
  • Demonstrate strong problem solving and interpersonal skills

Background:

  • 3 years of database development experience
  • Deep desire to solve technical problems and exceed expectations
  • University Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Business is preferred or comparable education and work experience
  • Solid experience in:
  • SQL and Oracle development
  • UNIX and Windows OS
  • Troubleshooting
