Description:

Our well established growing private sector client is looking for an Oracle DBA who thrives on being a subject matter expert in strong team environment.  You will be working closely with the development team helping them deliver solutions to customer issues and also implement projects.  This requires someone that enjoys working in a team environment and learning new technologies in software-as-a-service solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop databases and ensure quality of available data to customers
  • Able to articulate solutions to database and server systems
  • Act as the Oracle internal champion
  • Provide guidance and to be an internal champion to the team
  • Demonstrate strong problem solving and interpersonal skills

Background:

  • 5 years of Oracle DBA experience
  • Deep desire to solve technical problems and exceed expectations
  • University Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Business is preferred or comparable education and work experience
  • Solid experience in:
  • Software as a Service
  • Building Oracle systems from scratch
  • Project implementation
