Description:

Our well established private sector client is looking for an expert to lead the development, improvement and management of processes and tools in IT Service Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides expert knowledge, ensuring the IT team meets the corporate business objectives
  • Design and lead improvements to Service Management processes and tools
  • Ownership of Service Management including monitoring of processes and improvement programs
  • Escalation point for IT Service Management issues, coordinating the return of service, and any required corrective action plans
  • As required, Project Management and leadership of other IT projects

Background:

  • 6 years experience in an ownership role of IT process and tools
  • Experience implementing an ITIL Framework and evaluating/ implementing Service Management tools – ITIL Foundation, Practitioners, Managers Certification is preferred
  • IT Project Management experience – PMP desirable
  • Strong Customer Service skills and commitment to meet and exceed internal/external customer expectations
  • Strong team player, verbal communication and written skills
