A well-recognized and established wealth management firm has a rewarding and potentially lucrative opportunity for a Financial and Wealth professional. The firm is looking for an individual who is very strong at nurturing relationships with clients and able to develop their own portfolio of business. This role is ideal for a dedicated, entrepreneurial and relationship driven person who is motivated to play an important role in the growth and success of the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage your own business and meet financial objectives.
- Create and maintain your own pipeline of client opportunities.
- Work with a team of professionals to provide advice on financial products for clients.
- Strong customer focus. Providing service excellence to clients.
- Takes initiative. Deal with situations and issues proactively and persistently, and seize opportunities that arise.
- Able to listen to others and communicate articulately and foster open communication.
- An ability to develop and implement a business development plan and build business channels.
- Demonstrated experience providing financial services to individuals and small institutions with an investment portfolio of $300k plus.
- A consummate “networker”. Able to establish, sustain and foster professional contacts to build own client book.
- Committed to being a trusted teammate. Works collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organizational goals and fosters team spirit.
Background:
- Successful completion of a Bachelor degree.
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course and Conduct and Practices Handbook.
- A minimum of three years experience in identifying investment/financial opportunities and in developing solid relationships with clients.
- Must be comfortable networking, cold calling, prospecting, asking for referrals and hosting seminars.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Experience recommending and selling financial services products to clients.
- Proven success in sales and business development through relationship management.
