Description:

An established company publicly traded company is looking for a controller who has their Chartered Accountant designation.  This is an opportunity for a dedicated team player with leadership skills who is motivated by contributing to the growth and success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Financial reporting and leading improvements to monthly management reporting
• Analysis and recommendations to spending controls
• Leading a team of 6 employees
• Business Analysis (eg. improvements to inventory management)
• Preparation of Annual budgets
• Monitoring and making internal control recommendations

Background:

• Successful completion of the CA Designation
• Experience working for one of the big four with experience in public financials
• Knowledge of IFRS is preferred (but not mandatory)
• Proven passion and experience in Accounting and Finance
• Exceptional organizational, analytical and communication skills
